How to become both happy and successful by Jitu Das philosophy

You can be both happy and successful if you are enjoying

what you are doing. Money is very essential, but that doesn't mean you will just do any boring work. First find the work that calls you to do it, I mean if the work itself doesn't attract you, why would you go to do it, even if you do it for money, you would always want escape from the work. I see most people want to go for vacation once a year to ease their mind, wtf ! Most people do jobs for money, and they only survive, they never get to live. But that is not the truth, they have 24 hours each day. Where 8 hour is involved in work, 7 hour is for sleep, and other 9 hours for themselves, for family and friends. But, most people watch television for hours everyday.The people who watch films, serials want to escape from reality, they love to think their life is gonna be like one of those characters of films and serials. I am not saying that we don't need escapement, infact the need of escapement is incresing everyday. The number of drugs addicts are also increaing as a worst escapement. The problem with every education system is that its lacking the education of morality. Why an educated or an degree holder do drugs, the reason is need of escapement.

Why we need escapement ? Is escapement is bad ?

What kind of escapement should I use ?

Paintaing, drawing, writing, reading, and our every work is a gateway to escapement. We need to escape because when we don't work our thoughts arise and makes us anxious to do something, if you want to experience what I am saying, just sit down without doing anything, (I am not talking about meditating. )

Sleeping is the real meditation, isn't it just amazing, you are all tired by the day's work, after dinner you go to sleep and wake up morning with freshness and new energy. Its like getting charged all night. Many people would not sleep well tonight and get sleepy tomorrow. From my own experience and study about sleeping I got to know that sleeping is as important as we need to eat food, to excrete normally and to bath; the shelter and cloth comes later. ) when you don't work or don't have any work or hobby, you end up watching T.V , surfing net or going out with a ride or talking with someone. What else you do ? Is there any better things to do,

Well there is, you can read a great book, you can watch a great films rather than those numerous t.v. shows. If you love adventure you can go out and travel, you can do photography, you can go learn music, you can also learn other language. You can make a garden, gardening is one of the best hobby or escapement. You can paint, draw. You can sing and dance. Just because you are a adult that doesn't mean you have to control your emotions. Without our emotions we are a robot. I think shame , confusion , doubt each of this emotions are an another form FEAR. Jealousy, envy, comparison are formed in us when there is absence of self confidence.

In this age of modern marvels, even though our physical works are decreasing but our mind work has increased, if not then why everyone is so stressed out.The people who work in office has to work all day in the computer,which causes poor eyesight, obesity,fatigue, heart disease, anxiety and many more problems .The students get 3 month to study for a 6 month's course.To complete a course like that the colleges gives notes like vomitting, some departments raise their hands and try to blame to students for not being regular, such departments are the enemy of education system. The semester system has caused the students to spend all day in college only to get notes of the half course. In these situation every student need escapement or a hobby. After spending the day at college writing notes, gardening seems just impossible, may be that everybody just either surf net or watch t.v. Some fools get drugs offered to them and becomes addicted and creates unbearable extra tensions in home. Never try drugs, once you try, your brain will soon demand one more try, its just like sex addiction, once you have sex , your brain wants more. When you take drugs or have sex, the number of connection between neuron cell increases in your brain and you feel good , but these good feelings are momentary. Drug addiction is like a never ending hunger, most drug addicts dies of over-dose.

So, what I want to say that why waste the whole life for a pleasure that last like for a minute. Since our mind work is incereasing day by day, the need of escapement is also increasing. So, if we must need escapement, then it should be creative, everythhng around your room or in the man-made environment, is a creative work by somebody from somewhere in the world.

There is a great saying - " our purpose is not to live forever, but to do something that will". So find what kind of inborn personality you have and find the kind of work that match your kind. If you can find the work that calls you to do it, you will never need escapement anymore.Ask any worker who work passionately, what is their escapement ?The music related workers would say that music is their life, ask anyone who is doing what they love to do.Success is when a person can spend his lifetime the way he want to. Success is not only about money, capital or property, you can achieve success if you have attained balance in your life style.A balanced person means who is living in harmony working what he loves, sharing the moments with his family and friends. A truly successful man means who help or inspire others to become successful.

Its an romantic comedy,surely you will enjoy, do not listen to the rotten tomatoes. What I think that the message of the film is that life should be simple and full of life not only showy stuffs. I loved the beautiful Dingle peninsula. I got astonished seeing the ake superstitions about the cat. The soundtrack list of the film is just great,it helps the scenes understand clearly.

12. 50-50 is a beautiful film. One thing that makes this so amazing,that is its soundtracks, The songs perfectly match the scenes.I enjoyed this film more than 500 days of summer. This film taught me that there is always be some people when you are going through bad time. The soundtrack list of this films is just amazing,you will get into the film.

13.In the beginning of the film 500 days of summer, it tells clearly that its not a love story, its a story of a boy meets a girl, The film tells you, not to have a belief someone is meant for you. There are no miracles,there is no fate, there is nothing is meant to be. Coincidence all that is, its about timing that is working everywhere in earth and in the universe. There is no soul mate, there is only person of that have same likes and dislikes. The horoscope is a fraud to fool people in need of something like job,career,love etc. I think that if you want to find the girl of your dream, you just have to be observant a little bit, you will find the girl of your dream,where your interest lies. For example, if you love books, you will meet her in the bookstores or somewhere related this place. You will find the girl that will love you in the places where you love going.

14.The descendants is a academy award nominated film for 4 categories in 2011 and for me the best film about life in 2011. The descendants is very successful in portraying a messed up family in Hawaii,where the mother got accident in a boat, and she is about to die,where elder daughter is addicted to drugs, and a 10 year old scotty.Where the father is trying to maintain the family.

What I loved about the film was watching the beauty of Hawaii. In the whole film,there was a breeze was flowing and guitar tunes Jeff Peterson and Hawaiian songs.

15.. Little Manhattan is a very beautiful film.it has also one of the greatest soundtrack that match the scenes of the film. I think the message was to be honest and open with each other in relationships. Some time not talking with each other rots a relationship.Talking is very important. I wrote about that in my most famous post my idea of a happy family Talking is one of the most important thing in a relationship,if you do not talk with your family just for an day even if you are in the same home,its effects the relationship,it does not matter how slightly. Little Manhattan is full of beautiful soundtracks.

15. Flashback of a fool is also a film about life.All these film I listed are films that captured the real life in picture. Daniel Craig portrays an actor Joe Scot: who was successful,but later,his life became messy. May be it was because of his suppressed memories of childhood.Where something happened with him,later he goes to to this home, and reconcile with his family.In the end Joe Scot realize and thinks," When I was a child I used to think that being brave meant that you had to take ownership. That to have a dream and to move forward in life you needed courage. But the only thing you need courage for is for standing still."

16. American beauty is one of the great film is one of the greatest film that gives the messages that happiness lies in the love. Without love you can not find happiness in the stuff or in the money.

All these films are tells you that we must love our families,friends and neighbor. There is nothing that is perfect or could be perfect. So,we must never expect for utopia,paradise or a perfect society.
At day,we need warm and light of sun and at night we dark to rest. I believe that,in life we need both happiness and sadness. What we call a person ,who is always happy,singing,laughing,we call them mad.
Because, we need not laugh all day,or party all night.We need to be what the environment recommend. At daytime,we need to work,at night, we should sleep.There is no need to party all night,drink alcohol and get hangover.
Why do something,that you are gonna regret doing in the future.Do something that your future thanks you for. So, whenever you get time watch these beautiful films.

What do you need in life by Jitu Das

Do you know how you get bored ?
You get bored, when you don't have any new idea to think about.
Whenever you hear a new idea, see a new idea , think a new idea you feel so much energy within.
The thing about idea is that you must know who you are first to know what kind of idea gives you energy. You can always find who you are, its just like buying your right sized shoe, to find the right shoe, you must put on other shoes too. So don't you settle on anything.
To make life more worth living, you should be -
1. Lover -You can be lover of anything. But you must love something. We are all lover of music, films, art, adventure, thrill ...
2. Curious- You must be curious to learn more. Learning is surely not the main purpose of life .
3. Friendly - we human are social loving animal. We can't live without connecting ourselves with society. Everybody is connected with society or with an another human being or any life or organism through direct or indirect contact.
4.Watch films - When we are watching a film we are connecting to ourselves in a story in which we can see as we are a invisible detective learning how they are living( I wrote living a film always in present continuous , except the flash backs). I love films like more than anything !.
I love to know people around the world. Thats why I watch films of every langugae if there is subtitles available. My friend, watch films to know more about people and the world. You should watch 50 great films before you die
5. Listen to music- Listen music to feel the enthusiastic, sadness. Music has the ability to induce emotions in you. Music can make you feel romantic, music can make you feel energetic, music can calm your mind, music can make you smart, music can make you passionate. Music is one of the greatest invention and now is the greatest of all time, you can listen to any music from anycountry, genre, singer, because you have a great power called internet.
The music of Amelie just creates harmony within me. Some music creates happiness, love, enthuaism. So I realized that happiness, love, sadness every emotion is within us, the emotions are within our brain, released by the hypothalamus of our brain, serotonin, dopamine.,Epinephrine. But even though in a complew way everything works in our body, but in a larger sense we must follow what we love. Here its get complicated in case of following. I mean you can love so many thing, but at one point you have to leave everything behind and follow one love. So the problem arise and you feel like you need to discussed with someone, someone who is interested in you, someone who loves you.
You may be doing anything in your life, but remember You can always do 3 great things your life -
1. Live life fully
2. Help others live life fully
3. Be curious and open minded.

When you feel, you have lost the focus of life, then come to basic of life. I mean concentrate on breathing. Breath in and breath out.

Your every breath worths more than all the treasure of the world, because breathing means that you are alive and I think being alive is the real purpose. You can be alive even after death only by work that serves the want or need of mankind. Because greatness is determined by the vastness of whom it serves .The great people like Socrates, Plato, Leonardo DA Vinci, Sir Isac Newton,Thomas Alva Adison, william Sakespear, Tolostoy, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein , still lives in their great works. I read somewhere , Martin Luther king jr. saying that Everybody can become great, but not famous. He just told a great philosophy within the line. So, our purpose must be to be happy, we can only become great when we do the work,that gives us pleasure and a content mind. I am writing this ,because I want you to be happy, because when you are happy, you are feel truly alive. I told you being alive is the real purpose. You can become great by doing great what you love to do. You can always become great if you really want to, but not always famous, its not fair, do you think like that ? Great work will be always great,even if the work which is great, doesn't become famous, in the life time of the worker, but its bound to be. I promise you. Many great workers had honored after so many years later of their death. So have a smile on your face, be happy,don't worry.

How to find the work you are born to do ? by Jitu Das

The work, you don't any reason to do, is the work you are born to do. If you start to ask for reasons why you are doing what you are doing, that doesn't only mean that you are a very curious person. I think that, when you love something, you don't question why you love ? Do you ? If you need reasons to do something, it is because you are not enjoying what you are doing. Ask, any great scientist,writers, singers, painter, filmmaker, actor, the question why they do what they do ? They all would say that, they can't live without doing their work, they say its their life. Such passion for a work, is what makes them great. My point is, do the work, you love. When you do the work, you enjoy every moment doing it. First know who you are, what kind of thinker you are.Believe in your inborn talent. Find the work, you can do all day without being bored,tired and exhausted. Your work could be anything that you are good at. Every work is a great but may not be famous. You need to believe in something. You have to live a life of passion. Passion is nothing but the strong desire to do something that excites your body ,mind and soul.I am writing this, because writing to inspire you is my passion. Your inner-world becomes stable,peaceful when you do the work , that distracts you most. When you start do "the work," leaving other work( The work that seeks your attention while you are doing other work.) then you will never get distracted anymore, no nagging thoughts will come. To know what is the work, you are born for, you just have to find the work, by doing which work,your mind go blank. When I write, my mind get so concentrated that I don't think about other things at all. I find the work peaceful. So, my friend , your job is to find the work, by doing which, you find inner peace, find the work by doing which your mind do not get distracted, find the work, which is like meditation for you. Find the work,that when you do that only one thing that exist is your work, and the whole world disappears. Such concentration is meditation. My dear, friend, find the work,that you are born to do,not what others tell you. If you notice very well, you will find that, the people you are related to are suggesting you to do, whats trending,not the work you are born to do. My friend, please don't listen to them, find the work, your life will be amazing when you do the work, you will be free as birds, light, peaceful as lake
You and I always know in our heart, what we want in life. But, we get worried, if we don't get what we really really want. The remedy is to believe in your talent,your inborn talent. You will get what you want, just follow what you love. Always believe that you are good at something. Your work is to find out what you are good at not what other's are good at. It is always about you,find who you want to be in your life...

Whenever in earth, sin, fallacy,corruption increases, then in different places, a great man born and shows the mankind the path to a peaceful,happy life .Just like Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha, Mohammad was born. Jesus was born in Jerusalem and created the religion Christan.Gautama Buddha was born in India, and he created the religion Buddhism. Mohammad was born in Arabian city Mecca, he created the religion Islam.Just like all those great saints,Srimanta Sankardeva was born in Assam,India. He was born in 1449, in a village called Bordowa.

Srimanta Sankardeva was born at the moment , when the society of assam, culture,language and literature was in a dark age.The saints of that time wrote that, in 1449, the people of Assam forgot about the Veda and Upanishads and morality. People were sacrificing animals in the name of god and goddesses, the people were materialistic. For the reason,the society was filled with corruption and sin.Everywhere in the society, was lacking morality in life.
Sankardeva was born in the midst of such society. His father was Kusumbar Bhuyan and mother was Stayasandha.His mother died just after giving birth to him.His grandmother Khersuti brought him up.

Sankardeva was strong.brave from him childhood.He was afraid of nothing. There is sayings that one day,he knocked down a big bull and in a monsoon, he could swim the Brahmaputra river( which is the world's 7th largest river) to the other side.Well, Sankardeva spent 12 years of his childhood,playing, having fun.But,his grandmother was worried about orphan child Sankardeva.One day, she take him to the teacher Mahendra Kandali( he was a great writer in assamese literature ).That day was Thursday of the month Vada.( august- september).In India, Wednesday and Thursday are believed to be blessesd day to begin a new work. After taking admission in the school, Sankardeva started to study well.In a few days Sankardeva became a bright student. There is sayings that, just by learning the Assamese letters,he wrote a beautiful poem,which is still a wonder for many scholars. It was sign that,he held great talent within him, which changed the entire society of assam for good. The poem he wrote was-
Karatala kamla , kamaladala nayana
  Vabadaha-dahan gahana bayana sayana
Kharatara barakhara hatadakha badana
Khagasara nagadhra fanadhra sayana
Napara napara para saratar gamaya
Savaya mabhaya mama harasata taya
Jaga daghamapa hara vaba vaya tarana
Para pada laya kara kamalaja nayan

It was a beautiful poem.In a short time, he mastered the art of verse.I believe his, verse is as beautiful and meaningful as the verses of William Shakespeare. He studied the four Veda,fourteen Satra and eighteen purana and became a great scholar of that time. He also studied yoga" sastra and started to practice and lived 120 years, a great mighty long year.
After completing his school study, he was given the title of Sanskrit scholar by the people. At,the age of 22, he married the girl Suryabati, daughter of Haribar Giri. After, 3 years of marriage, a girl born, they named her Monu.When, Monu became nine month, her mother Suryabati Died.

After, the sudden death of his wife, Sankardeva felt very sad ! It was great shock to him ! So,it was unbearable for him to stay in that place anymore!, I believe the death of his wife made him question, why people die ?, so he started to search the answer in religion and for that reason, in 1503, he went on a journey with his friend Ramram,Sarbajay,Paramanadh and 18 other to the different pilgrimage of India.India is always been the center of spirituality in the whole world,because, the most ancient and great Hindu religion started in India,Besides the great Gautama Buddha born in India.
Sankardeva in his journey ,visited Srikheta,Ganges ,Sitakunda,Barah khetra, Pushkarani tirtha, Mathura,Brindabana .After the journey of 12 years,he went home.The journey took that long period,because in 15th century, there is not such transportation as we have now in 21th century. At the age of 97, master Sankardeva with Madhavdeva, Ramram and Narayana, Gobinda, Udar and with 120 follower he went to pilgrimage for the second time.
After, coming home, from his first journey, which was for 12 years.In those years, he studied the Vaishnava religion.
Sankardeva was inspired to spread the Vaishnava religion in Assam, by translating the book for Assamese people. The main motto of the Vaishnava religion is believing in one and only one god. Hurting animal is strongly prohibited even an insect , just like the Buddhism. The people who are true Bhakat( who strongly apply the Vaishnava religion or dharma)
In the time Sankardeva was born ,People were unhappy, distracted and were living a very unstable life. Thats why to attract the people about this Vaishnaba religion, he wrote the play, Sinha- yatra and also acted on it,it is called as Bhaona in assamese( the acting ). In the sinha-yatra ( a dance play), he painted the sapta vaikuntha( home of god Vishnu or Hari ).It is the beautiful, eternal abode of Narayana or Vishnu, his consort Laxmi, or in simple it was heaven as we imagine.Watching the beautiful paintings of 7 heaven and music played along,people got mesmerized and became disciple of Sankardeva. In this way, Sankardeva became very popular. Many scholars of Assam, started to realize the greatness of Sankardeva and became his disciple even his teacher Mahendra Kandali. Day by day people became attracted to his new religion, which was far more peaceful itself than believing many god and goddess.In this way, a new era of began in my state Assam. The era of vaishnavism,.Great Scholar of Assam said hat, the modern civilization of assam is truly a civilization of vaishnavism .
Great Sankardeva's best pupil was Madhavdeva like Socrates and Aristotle.At first Madhav deva usedto believe in the 'Sakta' religion.( In the Sakta religion , the believers pray to many god and godesses) At the first meeting Mahavdev debated with Sankardeva,in the debate with Sankardeva, in the debate Sankardeva told Mdhavdev that, a tree has many branches and they all need water and minerals and it is good enough to give water to the routes of the tree from the route, the vascular system will carry the water to all the branches.It is foolishness to give water to every branches.Just like that praying to Krishna( Who is the god, that Vaishavism religion believes in,he is also known as Vishnu) wouldbe like praying every god and godeses, as he is the source of all energy of universe. With such beautiful examples Sankardeva explained to Madhavdeva believing in one god is more appropriate,peaceful than believing inmany gods.After realizing the wise words by Madhavdeva became his pupil.After that, both Sankardeva and Madhavdeva started to teach the religion together all around assam.The meeting Sankar -Madhav is called ''Mani-Kansan' connetion in assamese. The religion Sankardeva what taught us was based on the ''Veda'', ''Puran'', and ''Vagabata'. The main thing in a religion is not the name of god, and the names are different in different religions.All religions holds the same believe in the unknown. We hindu call it Vagaban, muslims call it Allah and the Chritians call it God. To pray god,we only need a pure heart and a open mind, not temple. Sankardeva believed in honest thinking and simple living which purifies both mind,body and soul.
In this religion,every being is equal.Leo Tolstoy shared the same belief,thats why he said that,God lives in humanity.
Great saint of India, Sankardeva had respect for every religion and for every people. Thats why he wrote-----

Kukura( Dog),Srigala ( fox) ,gardabharo( Donkey) atma(soul) Rama( GOD, an avatar of lord Vishnu)
Janiya( knowing) sabako( eveybody) kariba( Do) pranama ( respect)
English translation of the above great verse is ----
Dog, fox and donkey all have the soul of god,
knowing that greet every being respectfully.

How to make your life more amazing by Jitu Das

I love life, I enjoy living. Who am I. what is my goal, how to find your goal , evolution, what happened before big bang are the questions that motivates me read & learn. I write about Life, I want to know why a mother loves their children so much, and their children when grow up doesn't care about their mother, who is more important for a man, his mother or his wife. Most of the people are unhappy ! Most of the people are not doing what they wanted when they were kids, thats why they are not happy, Paulo Coelho said, wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure. Most of the people on earth are angry because they have no goal, they never tried to know what is their goal, what they are good at.If a person could have his goal, he or she will have satisfaction, this satisfaction will change their life,they will be calm & cool.Life would be like a long ,fun holiday on Earth, I want you to have a good life. If people get what they would never be jealous, jealousy is like the rust in the iron, Most of the people on earth is jealous of each other. It makes people sad, behavior becomes rude.Wherever your interest is, there lies your good life. So,I think finding your goal is all you need to do, because if you find your goal, you will know yourself, its called self realization or enlightment. when you have this self realization, all your nagging thoughts will melt away.You will have constant satisfaction. If you realize your talent, you will know what to do do by yourself. If you want to know your uniqueness, you have to do some study, you need to travel, you need to read biographies of great people, you need to ask yourself what you are good at, The Only question which you will erase all your confusion, and that is -- What is that thing you can do all day, without feeling exhausted, bored, tired. Thats it, you are born for this work, What is work, work is the only great way to spend your life. What is life ? Life is that summation of your work or a series of events that happens continuously, you wonder sometime, what is going on ? what is Life. In simple, Life is the best thing you have, though you have never asked for it. Life is like a ticket to Disneyland, you enter, you have fun, see different things with the people you love, and when the day is about to end, you make sure you have all the fun, then you leave that Disneyland .

How to keep the passion of life alive by Jitu Das

If you have a interest in something, you will know it all the time. Only thing you need to do is keep your interest in that something, don't let die. Your interest is the inspiration, hope and one of the great reason you love your life. You

keep it, don't lose it. If you are not getting what interest I am talking about. I AM TALKING that Your inspiration could be anything or anyone you love. Your love for someone, your love for something is the inspiration that literally keeps you alive ! Your inspiration is the reason you wake up, do breakfast, go to bathroom and you do all the things that you do everyday. Its something isn't it that keeps you running, don't get the wrong idea, it just food, its all about the energy comes from what you love. So what I want to say is that don't be afraid to fall in love, don't be afraid to fail in love. Do what you love, love whom you like. Its what you should do to stay happy.

How fantasy & imagination is more powerful than knowledge by Jitu Das

Fantasy, imagination is much more powerful and beautiful than knowlege.
Thats because God doesn't exist in knowledge. God exist in imagination and almost 99 % people thinks its good to believe in God. There is no other way you can explain

who created the universe. The god may have created a perfect earth where life supports, but I don't believe in the god the religion describe. I mean how could they know how god looks like. The common idea; that all the religion believe is the unknown god. Different religion have different idea about the appearance of god. I believe that God, is something, that we don't know nothing yet and I don't think god looks like human. How could anyone can be sure of that, the religion can. But science can't.

I wrote that imagination is more powerful and beautiful because imgination creates are hope, and hope is the real inspiration behind everyday we wake up, go to sleep and do all the things we love to do, we have to do. Using Knowledge is called wisdom. It depends how you want to spend your life. Our whole Knowlege about reality may be proved to wrong in future scientific discovery. But imagination rules the heart of mankind. Sometime in life we may need a story to be inspired not knowledge.
