1. Sankardev went to school at the age 12.

2. Sankardev wrote a poem

just by learning the Assamese letters,he wrote a beautiful poem,which is still a wonder for many scholars. It was sign that,he held great talent within him, which changed the entire society of assam for good. The poem he wrote was-
Karatala kamala , kamaladala nayana
Vabadaha-dahan gahana bayana sayana
Kharatara barakhara hatadakha badana
Khagasara nagadhra fanadhra sayana
Napara napara para saratar gamaya
Savaya mabhaya mama harasata taya
Jaga daghamapa hara vaba vaya tarana
Para pada laya kara kamalaja nayan

3. He studied the four Veda,fourteen Satra and eighteen purana and became a great scholar of that time.

4. He also studied yoga" sastra and started to practice and lived 120 years, a great mighty long year.

5. Sankardeva in his pilgrimage,visited Srikheta,Ganges ,Sitakunda,Barah khetra, Pushkarani tirtha, Mathura,Brindabana .After the journey of 12 years,he went home.The journey took that long period,because in 15th century, there is not such transportation as we have now in 21th century. At the age of 97, master Sankardeva with Madhavdeva, Ramram and Narayana, Gobinda, Udar and with 120 follower he went to pilgrimage for the second time.

মাধৱদেৱৰ বিষয়ে ১০ টা গুৰুত্বপুৰ্ণ কথা -

১. মহাপুৰুষ মাধৱদেৱৰ জন্ম হৈছিল ১৪৮৯ চনত উত্তৰ লক্ষীমপুৰৰ নাৰায়ণপুৰ অঞ্চলত ।

২. মাধৱদেৱ অসমৰ শংকৰদেৱৰ পিছত ভক্তি ধৰ্মৰ প্ৰচাৰ আৰু বিকাশত মূল ভূমিকা পালন কৰিছিল।

৩. তেওঁ প্ৰথমে শাক্ত ধৰ্মী আছিল যদিও শংকৰদেৱৰ লগত তেওঁৰ যেতিয়া শাস্ত্ৰাত হৈছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ শংকৰদেৱক গুৰু মানি লৈছিল আৰু একশৰণ ধৰ্মত দীক্ষা লয় ।

৪. মাধৱদেৱে বিবাহ কৰোৱা নাছিল । তেওঁ বৈৰাগী আছিল যদিও জীৱন বিমুখ নাছিল । তেওঁ বিষয়ৰ সুখৰ প্ৰতি আগ্ৰহী নাছিল যদিও তেওঁ মানুহক জীৱনত খেতি,বাতি বা ব্যৱসায় কৰিব কৈছিল ।

৫. মাধৱদেৱৰ বহুতো প্ৰতিভা আছিল । তেওঁ ধৰ্ম প্ৰচাৰক , কবি , নাট্যকাৰ আৰু সুগায়ক আছিল ।

৬. ৰামায়ণৰ আদিকাণ্ড ভাঙনি তেওঁ গুৰু শংকৰদেৱক সহযোগ কৰিছিল ।।

৭. ১৫৯০-১৫৯৬ চনৰ ভিতৰত মাধৱদেৱে তেওঁৰ শ্রেষ্ঠ গ্ৰন্থ " নামঘোষা" লিখি উলিয়ায় ।

৮. মাধৱদেৱে লিখা অংকীয়া নাট সমূহ হ'ল -

চোৰধৰা, পিম্পৰা গুচোৱা, ভূমি লেটোৱা , ভোজন বিহাৰ , দধি মথন, অৰ্জুন ভঞ্জন আদি । এই নাটসমূহত ভগৱান শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণৰ বাৎসল্য লীলাবোৰ এক সুন্দৰ ভাৱত প্ৰকাশ পাইছে ।

৯. শংকৰদেৱৰ আদেশ মৰ্মে, মাধৱদেৱে বহুতো বৰগীত ৰচনা কৰিছিল । তাৰে ভিতৰত আঁৰে কম্পিত মাধৱ , তেজৰে কমলাপতি আদি জনপ্ৰিয় বৰগীত ।

১০. মাধৱদেৱৰ মৃত্যু ১৫৯৬ চনত কোচবিহাৰৰ ভেলাসত্ৰত তেওঁৰ দেহাৱসান ঘটে ।

আজি ২০২০ চনৰ ৬ জুন তাৰিখত মহাপুৰুষ মাধৱদেৱৰ ৫৩১ সংখ্যক জন্মতিথি ।গুৰুজনাৰ ওচৰত শ্ৰদ্ধাৰে সেৱা জনালোঁ ।।

লোকপ্ৰিয় গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈ অসমৰ প্ৰথম মুখ্যমন্ত্ৰী আছিল । তেওঁৰ নিঃস্বাৰ্থ মনৰ বাবে তেওঁ সকলোৰে প্রিয় আছিল। আধুনিক অসমৰ প্ৰথম খনিকৰ গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈৰ জন্ম ১৮৯০ চনৰ ৬ জুনত হৈছিল । তেখেতৰ বিষয়ে বহুতে ভালকৈ নাজানে । কিন্তু গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈয়ে অসমৰ ভৱিষ্যত সুৰক্ষিত কৰাত মুখ্য ভূমিকা লৈছিল, অন্যথা অসম হয়তো পূৱ পাকিস্তানৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হ'লহেঁতেন । তেওঁ পিছত অসমক চীনৰ পৰাও সুৰক্ষিত কৰাৰ বাবে যতন কৰিছিল ।

মুখ্যমন্ত্ৰী কালত তেওঁ অসম হাইকোৰ্ট, অসম মেডিকেল কলেজ, অসম ভেটেনাৰী কলেজ আদি স্থাপন কৰিছিল ।

বহুতে হয়তো গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈৰ লিখা পঢ়া নাই । কিন্তু তেওঁৰ লিখা বহুত সুন্দৰ । গান্ধীৰ অহিংসা আদৰ্শবাদক তেওঁ মানি চলিছিল । তেওঁৰ লিখাত বিভিন্ন ধৰ্মৰ কথা পোৱা গৈছে । তেওঁ লিখা কিতাপৰ ভিতৰত অনাশক্তিযোগ, শ্ৰীৰামচন্দ্ৰ, বুদ্ধদেৱ, হজৰত মহম্মদ আদি । মই সৰুতেই গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈৰ সমগ্ৰ ৰচানৱলী পঢ়িবলৈ সুবিধা পাইছিলোঁ । মুখ্যমন্ত্ৰী হলেও তেওঁ সহজ সৰল জীৱন যাপন কৰিছিল । হয়তো তেওঁ এক আধ্যাত্মিক জীৱন নিৰ্বাহ কৰিছিল ।

তেখেতৰ মৃত্যু হৈছিল ১৯৫০ চনৰ ৫ আগষ্টত ।

গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈক অটল বিহাৰী বাজপেয়ীয়ে ১৯৯৯ চনত মৰণোত্তৰ ভাৱে ভাৰত ৰত্ন বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰিছিল। ২০০২ চনত ৰাষ্ট্ৰপতি এ.পি.জে. আব্দুল কালামে ভাৰতৰ সংসদ ভৱনত তেওঁৰ জীৱন আকাৰৰ প্ৰতিমা অনাৱৰণ (unveil) কৰিছিল l

তেখেতৰ আজি জন্মদিনত আমি অসমবাসীয়ে আজি শ্ৰদ্ধা জনাইছো ।।

What is Kamakhya temple ?

The Kamakhya Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya.

Why Kamakhya temple is famous ?

According to the Kalika Purana, Kamakhya Temple denotes the spot where Sati used to retire in secret to satisfy her amour with Shiva, and it was also the place where her yoni fell after Shiva danced with the corpse of Sati. This is the resaon all across the country bhakts or devotees visit Kamakhya temple to get blessings from Sati,wife of Shiva.

How old is Kamakhya temple ?

It was built many times between 8th century to 17th century. It was destroyed by Kalapahar, a general of Sulaiman Karrani (1566–1572). Since then it has been renovated many times and now it has hybrid indigenous style that is sometimes called the Nilachal type: a temple with a hemispherical dome on a cruciform base.
