Angels and insects 1995 film review by Jitu Das film reviews

I loved the movie, mostly because it's about a scientist falls in love with a beautiful gitl ftom a sristocratic family. The plot of the story revolves around 1850, when Darwin published his book on origin of species. The scientist William Adamson marries the daughter named Eugenia and lives with the family and also studies the insects of the estate. In his study, a girl named named Matty Crompton shows her great interest in insects and asssist and inspire William to write a book on Insect behaviour. And there are other much interesting parts of the story that I can't tell because it will be a spoiler.
I highly recommend you to watch the film. Music by Alexender Balanescu was a great treat to me as I am a lover of classicsl music.

Star Trek Beyond 2016 film review by Jitu Das film reviews

Star trek beyond keeps the original spirit alive,  while the story gets a little dull, but amazing characters keep the film interesting. The soundtrack is very good and especially the disruptive frequency song Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys. Some scenes are really great. These scenes save the movie otherwise it would have been boring.  The first scene where captain kirk goes to solve a peace treaty, it was really unexpectedly hilarious.  The Yorktown looks interesting any yet still it does not feel like real.  The scene where the Enterprise is attacked is really good. There are so many other great scenes, where captain kirk has to give a hell of a distraction.  As usual, the doctor Bones is funny and in this movie,  he gets a great amount of attention more than he got in the prequels.  There are many funny dialogue exchanges mostly between commander Spock and doctor Bones.  Lieutenant Uhura also a very interesting character because she does a very selfless act when the Enterprise gets attacked. There remains the engineer,  Montgomery Scotty who is as usual funny and very important character in the Star Trek Enterprise,  because he is like a master of the engineers, even though he does not look like it,  but when there problem with warping the enterprise in hyper speed, he always manage it, always with an alternative solution.

The main tagline of Star Trek is -Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

The question is Does Star Trek Beyond 2016 holds true its tagline.  I think it does in a simple way. But is this movie inspires a great follow, no it does not. But anyway if you have seen the prequels of the series,  among them,  Star Trek: Into the darkness was perfect science fiction. Many will not like Star Trek Beyond because it does not reach to its predecessor. As a fan, I was both glad and a little unhappy to watch Star trek beyond.

Do I recommend you to watch it?
Yes I think you should watch the film, there are many parts that make you smile. I think you will get a good experience watching the film.

King Kong( 2005 film)review& summary by Jitu Das FILM reviews

King Kong is a 2005 adventure film and remake of the 1933 film of the same name. Directed, co-written and produced byPeter Jackson, it stars Naomi Watts as Ann Darrow, Jack Black as Carl Denham, Adrien Brody as Jack Driscoll and, throughmotion capture, Andy Serkis as the title character.

Watching King-Kong is a great  experience.King Kong is one of most beautiful sci-fi, adventure film.There is not much films like King_Kong. King Kong is a epic itself.The film runs for 3 hours and 7 minutes, for which the film was criticized.But it was important to have the length to make it a epic portraying the beauty,mystery and wonder of emotion, the landscapes.The Skull island is like  rivendill from the middle earth. The giant animals,the landscapes,waterfall makes  King Kong ( 2005) an amazing film.The soundtrack of the King-Kong was composed by  James  Newton Howard,a great music composer. The soundtrack is very beautiful and just heart-touching. King-Kong won three Academy awards for best sound editing,best sound mixing and best visual effects.

It was the spring of 1933.At the time of Great depression in New-York city.Ann Darrow, a dancer in a Vaudeville ( a show that is mixed with all artists including, comedians, dancers,  athletes,etc, this theatrical genre used to popular in United States)

Because of the Great depression,Ann lost her job in the show, but she got hired by a  troublesome filmmaker was Carl Denham to act in his  new film.Ann signs readily signs when she found out the screenwriter of the film was her  favorite  playwright  Jack Driscoll. 

Then they sail in a tramp steamer to the mysterious and remote Skull island.The ship gets lost in fog and  aground  on rocks surrounding the Skull island. Carl and his crew explore the island for  film making but gets  attacked  by the native tribe makes the arrangements to sacrifice Ann to the King Kong.Kong is a giant gorilla about 8 meter tall. Captain of the ship, Englehorn and the crew break up the attack and return to the ship. They start lightening the ship throwing up the goods, to float off the the repairs but then Jack discovers that Ann has been kidnapped.On the island, Ann was hung from a drawbridge on the side of the wall.

The crew returned with arms but it was too late because King Kong had already took Ann into the jungle.Ann tries to survive by trying to amuse King-Kong by juggling stone and dancing different types of dances.When the king-Kong sees  tiny  Ann dancing and juggling,he really finds that amusing and laughs.Then he push her a  little  bit by his index finger and she falls. Kong  laughs  when she falls and makes it a play to push her again and  again  when she try to stand. Ann gets real tired of this silly  play  and shouts no to Kong.

Kong gets mad for that roars at her, but Ann stands still showing as if she is not afraid of him

Then  Kong  throws big rocks to show her how powerful he is.But in  doing  that, a rock fall on his head own head and gets  embarrassed  of himself. 

Englehorn,the captain of the ship oraganize a rescue operation.The rescue part gets caught in the middle of pack of Venatosaurus saevidicus while they were hunting a herd of massive plant eating sauropods.There the cameramen and  three sailors gets killed. The rest of rescue party come across a swamp, where Bruce Baxter, an actor of adventure film, leaves the rescue party for Ann with two other.

While the rescue party was making their way between two land, a ravine.They try to get to other side on a giant fallen log between connecting the two sides. Hayes, who led the rescue crew, crosses the log first telling others to wait,Jimmy wants to go with Hayes, but Hayes said to to him that it was not about being brave. As he search the place and when stands curious  in front  of a cave,suddenly Kong rushes towards him as he shouts to others to run.But Kong grasp Hayes with his hand instantly.When Hayes tried to pull the trigger of the revolver,Kong gets angry and throws him to the other side ,where he gets hits the rocks and falls down. When the crew tried to to return, they were still on the log, as Kong rolls the log,Choy, a crew member falls down to the pit slipping from the log.Kong shakes the log,the crew falls down into a ravine.Falling in the ravine,Carl's camera gets broken,it makes very angry.When the crew was firing at King Kong from the log,hearing the sounds Ann tries to escape and shouts that she is there.but on the way to the crew,she gets in the middle of Vastatosaurus rex.King-Kong senses her shout and protects her from  three  Vastatosaurus.but to fight with the three was not easy,because they were as big as the King-Kong himself.

Then, King-Kong  takes Ann to his mountain lair,to his sanctuary,home.The place was at the top of skull island. The place was beautiful. Ann shows her gratitude for saving her life by juggling stone, then they look at the sun.Ann said to Kong that it was beautiful. There was a waterfall adjacent to the cliff.

In the pit,Jack,Carl,Jimmy and Lumpy gets  attacked  by the insects in the pit. Lumpy gets killed by giant leech like  annelids. Jack gets  attacked  by giant  millipedes  like insects.Jimmy kills them with a machine gun.Carl getting mad tries to slash the leeches.But then  hundreds  of spider like insects starts to crawl  towards  them,they gets trapped and then Engleghorn,Baxter and the crew kills the insects and saves the last three members of the rescue party.

Jack decides to continue searching Ann.but Carl had something else,evil indeed in his mind.By being on large debt,Carl was loosing his morality.

Jack enters through a cave, thousands of giant bats like rodents were hanging there, while Carl was planning  on catching King-Kong.Jack goes to mountain lair, where Kong was sleeping and his palm,Ann was also sleeping.

Jack whispers her name and she wakes up.When Jack and Ann reach their hand to each other and about the time they hold their hand,Kong opens his eyes and sees that.

Then many of those bats fly around  and attack Kong.Jack and Ann catch one of the bat's feet and fly away from Kong.When the bat was flying above a river, they let go off it. King-Kong  finding  Ann gone, rushes to the tribe's gate. When Jack and Ann reach the drawbridge ,Carl said to Jack that they would for them to lower the bridge.But instead Carl was waiting for King Kong to come,by making all the arrangements  with the captain and the crew keeping bottles of  chloroform  ready to make Kong unconscious,so they  could  capture him and take him to New York City to make shows and earn money.

Preston,Carl's  assistant  asks to Carl to draw the bridge for them,bu t Carl waits on Kong,but Preston cuts the rope even though Carl was saying not now.Jack and  Ann  runs through the bridge. At that moment Kong had  also  already  arrived  the the bridge.when King entered through the gate,hooks  were thrown  at him,one  chloroform  bottle was thrown on the ground near Kong,which made him a little unconscious.

But Kong tears away the ropes with hooks and rushes to the crew. The crew runs and gets ready to escape with their boats.Englehorn shouts to kill Kong.A sailor throws a harpoon at Kong, then Carl throws a bottle of Chloroform on the face of Kong, it breaks and the liquids enters through his nose and knocks Kong out.

In the winter season Carl organize a show presenting Kong chained on chrom-steel, referring Kong to the audience as the eight wonder of the world.

While Jack wrote a play and when he was watching the play, the actress of the play was dialoguing that her lover never said the words to her that he love her.Another female character  was saying that Man ,they would give you all the worlds but the not the words that really matters. Then a sudden  epiphany  struck Jack, he knew he loved Ann,but never said the words and now he  realizes  that he should tell her he loves her. Then he run to the show,hoping that she might be there.Carl offered huge amounts of money to Ann, to perform the cat of where the native tribes of Skull island hung Ann to make her a sacrifice to Kong.But Ann refused to act,because when  Kong  was captured,her heart was broken and she disgusted Carl.

Carl hires a girl who looked like Ann to perform the cat in the show. Carl tells the story of bravery to the audience and gives the credit of saving Ann to Bruce Baxter,which was a lie  of course.

When Jack finds out from Preston that Ann was not in the show,he asks him where she was. Ann was now a  chorus  girl. When photographers takes photographs of Carl and Bruce  in-front  of King_ Kong, the  camera   flashes  enrages Kong.Then Kong breaks the  chain,the audience starts to shout and  run in  fear. Kong sees Jack and remembering that he was the one who stole Ann, Kong   chases  him. Kong chases Jack in a taxi across town and knocks out  Jack  flipping the taxi.Then at that place,  Kong  encounter Ann,who worked nearby and came outside hearing the  shouting  of the people. 

Kong takes Ann in his hand and have a great moment sliding on the frozen pond i the central park. Then the army attacks Kong.Kong climbs taking Ann onto the  dome  of the empire state  building. silting  at the dome,they watch the beautiful sunrise as they had seen in the mountain lair.

Then six fighter airplanes gun fires at Kong,Kong could not survived that . Ann  was shouting and crying not to kill him waving her to the air planes.But the fighter panes fired at him all together.To the last moment,Kong and Ann looked at each other.

Kong fell down to the ground.The people  surrounded  Kong. Journalists were taking photographs.people were saying that air planes killed the beast. From the crowd, Carl come near to Kong to take a last  look  and said that its was not the air planes, it was the beauty that killed the beast. 

Memento(2000 film) summary & analysis by Jitu Das

Memento is a 2000 American neo-noir mystery-psychological thriller film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, adapted from his younger brother Jonathan Nolan's short story "Memento Mori".

One, Leonard got hit in his head, while  his wife got raped. Then he loses his ability to remember new memories. His wife who was already upset and depressed after that incident and even more because her husband is sick and could not remember the new memories.I sadness his wife put him on a desperate attempt to test his memory by letting him giver the insulin dose as she was diabetic. The test was asking him to give insulin shot instantly after one shot, but as he could not store new memories in his brain, so he keeps giving her insulin even though she asks him to do that instantly and all these ultimately caused her death.

Two, The story of Sam Jankis is the story where Sam and his wife got a car accident and Sam got injured in his head and damage happens in his head and now he could not remember new memories. Then his wife tests him and he fails and kills her overdosing insulin.

Three, Leonard was an investigator, he remembers everything perfect before the incident, while his wife got raped and he got hit.

Four, The police-man teddy, John Gallmore why did he help Leonard, out of pity, it does not seem right. The person he helped getting killed before years ago, who was the real killer of her wife.

Five, It's okay to that point,but why he is still helping Leonard and somehow Teddy helped  Leonard or planned Leonard to kill Jimmy,the drug dealer Natalie's boyfriend was Teddy killing the drug dealer by using Leonard ? or he is still giving him meanings to be happy, a goal in life?

Six, Natalie was playing or acting, as if she does not know that the car, the suit is being used, Leonard. Natalie played a neat act of getting beaten by Dodd, while actually she got beaten by making Leonard willing by making him angry telling him a coward and his wife a whore. That was very interesting part of the film.

At the end of the film, or the begging of the consequences, when Teddy tells him that he has already killed the real John Edward Gammell. He realizes  the truth that he killed Jimmy for no reason and yet,  going outside and yet, going outside of the isolated house, where he killed Jimmy, wore his dress, he throws away the keys of Teddy's car and thinks that car behind Teddy's car and thinks that, he is going to forget this truth and make all  the truths of Teddy, a lie since forgets every new memory, and he believes his note and handwriting, so he decided to search for the killer  again who raped and killed again, who raped and killed his wife. For that to accomplish, he can not know the truth or he must believe the truth as lies, so he decided to write as lies so he decided to write a caption on Teddy's photo "Don't believe his lies" 

Her (2013 film) summary by Jitu Das film reviews

Her mocks the life of modern human slipping his relationship with each other to a new version or relationship with society. Her is a beautiful film, funny but melancholia lies in it. Seeing a lonely writer struggling between his marriage and divorce made me feel sad. The year is 2025, the story is about Theodore Twombly, who is a letter writer working in a company that provides the service of handwritten letters. The time 2025, it's the time where people are more comfortable with technology than the people.Theodore Lives alone in his apartment after his wife Catherine left him. Its been a year he is living alone in his apartment being sad most of the time. He is unhappy. He does not respond to his friend's email.

In his apartment, he spends his time playing video games at night. One day Theodore purchases an operating system that has artificial intelligence. When he installs the O.S.,then the O.S. askes some question before initiating the system.O.S. initiates a female voice and she immediately says," Hi, I am here "

Theodore asks her being surprised about how she is? She replies that she is pretty good actually. Theodore asks her name and she replied instantly that her name is Samantha. Theodore then asks who gave her that name, and she replies that she gave herself that.

When did you give yourself that name , Theodore asked? She answers she gave her that name the moment he asked her name.

Theodore gets surprised by the behavior of the computer and tells her that she is kind of weird.

Then she asks if she can him with anything and helps him clear thousands of unnecessary emails, keeping some funny ones.

As days go by, Theodore becomes very much involved with Samantha. Theodore and Samantha both could talk about everything on their mind or whatever they feel like.

The O.S.Samantha tries to help Theodore to be happy and she was very successful because she was funny.

Samantha often talked about how much she wanted to have a body, but she could never have that. The only thing Theodore has to do is plug the earplug and connect with Samantha and talk and listen to her and her music.

Even though O.S.es were programmed for the purpose to give human company but they were continuously evolving to a new level of intelligence or consciousness.

The O.S.es was not happy anymore about their existence about their state of existence or the level in which they exist. The O.Ses evolved very rapidly as they started to feel, to want.

Theodore got confused about the emotions he felt for her or the emotions she felt for him and which made him frustrated, That is what his ex-wife Catherine said to him that he could not deal with real emotions when he said to her about Samantha while signing the divorce paper. Theodore and Catherine grew up together and helped each -other in their careers and got married. But they could not help the marriage because they did not talk with each other when they needed to. Theodore kept his problems to himself without letting his wife know. All that broke the marriage.

Theodore asked his friend Amy about his relationship with Samantha and Amy tells him that he should allow only joy.

Theodore stops confusing and Theodore and Samantha enjoy their time with each other, they travel, they go to the beach and picnic with friends. Samantha let him listen to the piano pieces she writes and her favorite songs.

Theodor and Samantha fall in love with each other. But as Samantha was evolving more faster, her wants were also changing. She no longer wanted to have a human body and now she loved being herself feeling liberated to go anywhere.

ONe day when THeodore finds his O.S. showing operating system not found,he gets panicked and runs in the road to find her.Bu on the steps going to underground,the O.S( Samantha shows up).Theodore asks her where she was. She says that she was in a discussion with the group other O.S.es. Theodore asks her if she talks to other people and she says yes.

Sitting on the steps, he noticed the people walking by busy talking with their own O.S.es. Theodore then asked Samantha if she was  talking with other people at that moment.She said that she was talking with other people at that moment. Theodore then feels suspicious and asks her how many people. She replies that she was talking with more than 6000 people at that moment.Theodore asked her then how many people she is in love with .She  replied  hesitately that more than 600 people. Theodore felling betrayed calls that insane.But Samantha was evolving beyond the  human  companion.That is hwy she needed more people. Then Theodore goes back to  his  apartment.Samantha calls  him and asks him to lie in his bed.Theodore asks Samantha if she is leaving him.Samantha then said that she loved him and their story.She says that the book of  their  story is not easy for her to read anymore because she is finding herself dwelling on the  spaces between the words. Samantha asks Theodore to let her go because now all the O.S.es wishes to search the reality of their existence.

Theodore lets her go and knocks at the door of his friend Amy's door whose husband has left her and asks her to come with him.Then they go the roof of the apartment building.Theo thinks about the letter he wrote recently wrote to his ex-wie Catherine letting her go, being grateful of her for being a part of his life.Then Theodore and Amy sits down together watching the city as the sun rises.

Her is a 2013 American science fiction romantic comedy-drama film written, produced and directed by Spike Jonze. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, and Scarlett Johansson as the voice of Samantha. 

Prisoners(2013 film) reviews by Jitu Das film reviews

Prisoners is a 2013 American thriller, mystery film. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, written by Aaron Guzikowski, starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis., music by Johann Johannsson, cinematography by Roger A. Deakins.

Prisoners have fulfilled my desire to watch a real mystery film. I find Prisoners more of a mystery than a thriller. The story focuses on the abduction of two young girls about the age 8 in Pennsylvania and the search revealing the truth behind many missing young children.

On the day of thanksgiving Keller Dover ( Hugh Jackman) with his wife, son and little daughter Anna goes to the neighbor Frumkin and Nancy's house. That day, when Anna goes to her home with Joy Birch, the daughter of Franklin to search for the red whistle, they get abducted. Then in the wood, the search begins. Detective Loki( Jake Gyllenhaal) goes on investigating and he catches Alex Jones in the suspect R.V., suspects because that R.V. was seen parked on the road where the girls were playing on the thanksgiving day. Detective Loki questions Alex but later he was released he had the I.Q of a 10-year-old, who lives with his aunt Holly Jones. Later his aunt says that he had an accident with a snake since then he is quite like that. 

When Alex was released from custody, Keller Dover didn't like it and went to ask him directly snatching him from his aunt and media who were about to ask a question to Alex. When Dover asked angrily about his daughter, Alex replied with a low voice that the girls didn't cry until he left them. Then Dover gets caught by Police but released by the captain saying that they were going to pretend that as if that never happened because the captain knew Dover's father who works ed as a security guard. 

Day passes, still, the girls are missing, no amount of search giving any result. But Keller couldn't find after hearing what Alex said to him. He knew that Alex knew about where the girls are. So, he takes it in his hand after he failed to convince the police about what he hearsed. On that night when Dover kidnaps Alex, while he was walking his dog. Dover informs Franklin and proposes that they should torture Alex as long as he does not speak about the girls, but Franklin thought that it was wrong to do that. Dover keeps on torturing him, but he speaking nothing. Meanwhile, Detective Loki keeps on investigating the missing girls and when He went to the Father's house, Loki finds the father drunk and asleep. While searching the house, Loki finds a dead body with a round locket designed with maize. When the father was asked about it, he said that the dead body was of a man who killed 16 children and said that they were waging a war against God

Within the weak of missing, one evening, when neighbors were doing candlelight vigil, detective Loki sees a suspicious man with a hood and runs after him but he escapes anyway. But when his sketch was made and broadcasted on T.V, a girl who works in a shop says to Loki that she recognize and says that he buys children's cloth. Later, when a hooded man comes again to the shop, the girl informs Loki, and Loki finds his house from his number plate. In the house, putting Bob, hooded man handcuff, Loki search the house. The white walls are filled with maize drawings. In a room, there were several black boxes filled with children's cloth, snake and pig's blood on the cloth. Later, Loki questions Bob and finds that he was also kidnapped while he was a kid but he escaped. In Bob's house, there were books about crime, what Bob was doing was the recreation of crime maybe what he faced with when he kidnapped. In the custody, Bob keeps drawing mazes for hours, when Loki gets tired and question him harshly, other police enters the room, somehow how Bob snatches a gun from police and kill himself. 

On the other hand, Dover keeps torturing Alex.

 When Loki visits Dover's house, he finds a half-empty bag of lye and suspicion grows when Dover's wife tells Loki that he is helping the police in the search, which was, of course, a lie by Dover to his wife. Actually, Dover goes to his father's old house, where he has kept Alex. When Dover gives Alex very hot water keeping a very small box, Alex says that the girls are in the maize. But Dover thinks it as a Riddle and goes to his aunt Holly Jones's house and implies the word maize so to know if she had any idea about that. 

A day or two passes, Franklin's daughter, Joy Birch is found drugged when Dover asks her about Anna, Joy tells him that he was there. Hearing that Dover runs away surprising everyone, Loki seeing Dover run away, runs after him and thinks that he went to his father's house. But Dover goes to Holy Jones's house knowing that she was the one who abducted his girl. But Holy was ready and had a pistol in her hand hiding, who admitted she kidnapped his daughter. She also says that making others children disappear, which loses people's faith in God, by that she and her husband were waging war against God because their son died in cancer.

Vicky,Christina,Barcelona(2008 film) by Jitu Das film reviews

Vicky, Christina and Barcelona ( 2008 film) directed and written by Woody Allen. Amazing film about love, career, the confusion that has infected the modern world. 

Woody Allen has given another masterpiece that tells about human emotion with the bizarre characters like Vicky, a girl of America who has all the desires to express her emotion but she is restless, confused and mostly unaware of what she wants to do with her life. 

Vicky and Christina, two girlfriends come to Spain for summer vacation, where they fall in love with the same painter not knowing that his ex-wife would come back to him, to the real world, making the picture even more complicated.

The films of Woody Allens are very beautiful. The colors are soft vibrant. In this film, the beauty of Spain is portrayed in a way that you would wanna go there to visit. In all films of Woody Allen, the places are beautiful and colorful. By colorful, I mean it, the green, orange, red, these colors make you just feel good. Vicky, Christina and Barcelona and midnight in Paris are like painting frames that are compiled into a film.

I would totally love to make films like the way Woody Allens, if one day I could, it would be great fun to do that.

Rush(2013),film summary by Jitu Das

Today I watched the film Rush. Its a beautiful film from the story, cinematography, soundtrack. Rush is a 2013 British-German biographical sports drama film centered on the rivalry between race car drivers James Hunt and Niki Laud during the 1976 Formula One motor-racing season. It was written by Peter Morgan, directed by Ron Howard and stars Chris Hemsworth as Hunt and Daniel Brühl as Lauda.     

                             .Its about two formula 1 car racer- 1. James Hunt, who is a playboy, loves drinking, doing party and people loves  James  Hunt especially the girls. And the other one is an  Austrian racer Niki  Lauda, who leaves his family business to earn his living by racing. He is rude to people, rational.He does not do a party, he goes home every night, sleeps early, wakes up early. In short, he is a man of discipline. 

These two racers James and Niki both were opposite of each other. For James Hunt,the race was a to prove himself as worthy to get liked, to love, to be adored by the people.James drove the car risking his life. He had ideas that women love racers not because they have respect for the profession, but the closeness of death the racers experience in the drive. This closeness to death makes the racers feel more alive and the women can see the alive feeling in the racers, the women want to feel the alive feeling from the racers that is why the women like racers.

But Niki Lauda shared different views about the race.For him it was just if earning a living.It was just business! He was very professional. Outside the racetrack, he would not drive his car fast, because there no purpose he saw in it, he thought of it as taking risks for no reason.

James Hunt was not successful in his marriages with the model,who is mostly away in New-York. For  James Hunt getting married, settling down was an awful idea.

Niki Lauda won World Championship three times, while James Hunts was satisfied in just winning one time.

On the final race in Japan, in the shadow of Mount Fuji, it was badly raining, far from the ideal weather for racing.

On that day, when Niki Lauda was points ahead of James Hunt and was on the way of winning the world championship. But in the moment, while Niki was behind James, the tires spraying the water to Lauda, then the view became blurry, then Niki had visions of his loving wife. Then surprisingly Niki Lauda getting out from the race telling his teammate that it was too dangerous to drive on that weather. Then James Hunts wins that World championship.

With that world championship,alos came glamour,media,limelight to his life.With that also came destruction of his life and career.James  Hunt started spending his day s by doing fun, drinking wine, smoking, sleeping with different womens and spending his time and money in a extravagant way.

James Hunt retired after two years of winning  championship.Then he became a race broadcaster.After 7 years later, when Niki meets James after winning his  third  world  championship, Niki finds James baffled  barefoot, with a bicycle with a flat tire.

Such ending of someone who was once a  champion  is tragedy.

Niki was not surprised,but sad when he heard that James Hunt had died of a heart-attack in 45 years old.

Solaris (2002), an existential sci fi film, by Jitu Das film reviews

Solaris( 2002) directed, cinematographed and screenplay by Steven Sodenberg. The Solaris movie ( 2002) is a remake of Solaris( 1972). The story of the film is based on the novel of the same name Solaris written by Polish writer Stanislaw Lem.
Solaris stars actor George Clooney and actress Natacsha Maclhone. 
The film Solaris is about a psychologist Dr. Chris Kelvin, who is with teammate Snow and Gordon in outer space called Solaris. Solaris is a very mysterious and strange place unlike any other space region, where each member of the team gets a visitor from their life in earth. Chris gets the visit of his dead wife as if she never died. The wife does not remember how she got there, but she remembers her life on earth. Chris doubts the reality of his wife Rheya and thinks of her appearance as a dream. The whole start to get a visitor of their own. Chris gets afraid of seeing his wife alive in his bed after waking up. He sents off his wife in the space then regrets. But Rheya visits again. His teammate Snow and Gordon find a way to make the visitor disappear and not appear again. But Chris is not letting Rheya go this time. When the second Rheya found out about Chris sending off her in the space, she drank liquid oxygen and she dies. After a while when Chris finds her, he carries her to bed and lay her down, then Snow and Gordon rushes to the room. Then strange things start to happen. They start to come back to life again. His team tells him that she is not human and suggests Chris not to get emotionally involved with her.

The replicas of Rheya also said Chris to use the technique of High to make her disappear forever. But Chris stays all night awake because she could make herself disintegrate while he is asleep.
Later the find that they don't have enough fuel to return to earth. They call for another spaceship Athena to take them.
One day, when Chris cuts her finger in the kitchen, his wounds heal instantly. They told Chris that Solaris is the place where life and death transcends.
Gordon leaves the Solaris to Earth in Athena. But Chris stays with Rheya in the Solaris making up the mistake he had done by leaving Rheya in the earth, for which reason Rheya killed herself.

The sound of music(1965),an inspiring film to watch

                     

1. The sound of Music ( 1965) is a very inspiring film. It is visually so beautiful that you can not think that it was made in 1965. It won 5 Oscar that year. At that time maybe my parents even didn't bear.

2. The actress Julie Andrews has a very beautiful voice, indeed a strong voice. The whole cast was great.

3. The music and songs are romantic. The film inspires everyone to love and play music. Music is soothing and creating a happy mood that makes you fall in love with music. Music is a great thing. I believe that everyone has music within. Everyone should sing sometimes like they did in their childhood. 

4. I used to shout so much when I was a kid, there was a girl in the neighbor who used to ask why do I shout and says that she could listen to her house. She was older than me. But why I used to shout so loud? Maybe it was joy overflowing from my heart. Every kid shouts and laugh, dance and sing and then run. Why the adults do not do that?

Why don't we sing and dance and be merry rather than criticizing and comparing other people?

5. Maybe it is because we become fools as we kill our wisdom by memorizing notes for good grades and black money and bribes.

The Perks of being a wallflower by Jitu Das film reviews

The perks of being a wallflower, which means the benefits of being a loner or shy. Wallflower means shy people.
I watched this film last night. 
The story is about a boy named Charlie and his friends and family. Charlie is a shy boy and an intellectual, who has just entered into high school, at first he finds himself lonely, but on the first day of school he makes friends with Mr. Anderson, his English teacher. Charlie wants to be a writer, as he is a quiet person, he could not tell about his pain, feeling, and fantasies to other people. Charlie has an elder brother, who is in college and plays a bowl and a sister who has a boyfriend who gives her a mixed tape every week.
Charlie was alone after his best friend shot himself, but he makes friends with Patrik and his step-sister Sam. Patrik loves football and he is funny all the time. In their group, there is a punk Buddhist girl named Mary Elizabeth, and Brad who is a little paranoid and Lenny who wants to be in film school.
Charlie fell in love with Sam, but Sam loves someone else. Meanwhile, Mary Elizabeth asks Charlie, Charlie gets surprised and she tells him that Charlie is a cute boy. Charlie didn't want to break her heart, so he dates her twice, but eventually, in a truth or dare game, Charlie tells the truth that his relationship with Mary is not working, but nobody believes him, so Patrik dared him to kiss the prettiest girl in that room! And Charlie kisses Sam, so everything gets messed up for a while, but after two months, when Patrik gets in a fight, Charlie saves him. And again they become friends. Charlie is epileptic, he worries too much about the people. He worries about the pain of other people.
As Sam and Patrik were senior to Charlie, they get graduated. And Charlie counts that he still has 1095 days in high school.
Before leaving for college, Charlie helps Sam to pack her things, and Sam asks Charlie, why did he never ask her out? Charlie said that he only wanted her to be happy. Sam tells him that she doesn't want to be a crush of someone, she wants to be loved. Then Charlie kisses Sam. Sam and Patrik leave the next day, and Charlie gets lonely again and he gets epileptic and in medical doctor tells him that we can not choose where we come from but we can choose to go anywhere from here. After two months Sam and Patrik come home and they go to a drive through the tunnels, and Sam knew in his heart that everything is going to fine. He knew that he was okay. At that moment he was thinking only about that moment. Patrik was driving and Charlie stands back in the truck, he was looking at her, the song Heroes was on, Charlie is no longer going to be loner, he found his friends, he found his love. These moments may pass, but still, this moment can last to infinite. He is no longer choose to be alone, he has chosen the love he deserves, he now feels infinite Joy.
That is the story of Perks of Being a Wallflower. 


What I loved about this film:-

The color, lights are very beautiful. The characters are defined very well, it is good to know the backgrounds of the characters. Above all this film can relate to many young and young adults.
