Why India has not yet fixed the hunger problem already !! According to FAO estimates in 'The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World, 2018” report, 195.9 million people are undernourished in India. About 3000 children die of hunger every day. India is not a poor country, because it is the third largest economies by PPP ( purchasing power parity ) GDP in the world and yet it has not been able to fix the hunger issues. There is no shortage of wealth in India, but the distribution of both and food seems like at separate dimensions. While countries India are suffering from povery, while people are dying of hunger, In America, more than 1 lac tones of food are being destroyed. It is painful to see people suffer this way.Along with the traditional technique of agriculture has been very inefficient to produce foods in this age of high population, high demand. And yet there seems to be no effective solution in the action, though there are schemes of government such as Under the provisions of this law, beneficiaries would get five kg of grain per person per month, including rice at Rs. 3 per kg, wheat at Rs. 2 per kg and coarse grains at Re 1 per kg, which have helped people a lot bringing a sense of food security and yet so many people in hunger !!! Where could be the problem ? According to the Indian Food Bank, 40 percent of vegetables and 30 percent of cereals produced are lost due to inefficiencies in the supply chain. India could completely revover from this problem, when more able and educated people would seek to help solve the problem and with better administrator and implementation of the schemes the hunger in India could be eradicated very soon ! #hunger #hungerinindia
